goodbye honey

There are people who don't come into our lives to stay. They come to change something within us.
You were exactly that kind of person.
You reminded me what it feels like to fall in love. That excitement, that hope, quietly imagining possibilities even when my mind already knew how impossible they were. For a little while, you made me believe that maybe even the impossible wasn't completely out of reach.
But the greatest gift you gave me wasn't the feeling of loving you, it was learning to love myself a little more again.
Because of you, I began to see myself differently. I learned that I can laugh without needing a reason. That I am worthy of being seen. That my heart, despite everything, is still capable of opening up. For that, I will always be grateful.
Some stories don't need a shared ending to be beautiful. Maybe our story was meant to remind us that we are still capable of feeling.
You'll always have a small place in my thoughts. Not every day. Not with sadness. Just with a quiet smile.
And every time I eat a Maxibon ice cream, I'll probably think of you and smile. It's funny how something so small and ordinary can end up carrying so many memories.
I sincerely hope you find all the happiness in the world with the people you love. Take good care of them, they are your home.
Thank you for showing me that it's worth believing in the good again. Thank you for reminding me what it feels like to hope, to dream, and to open my heart once more. Most of all, thank you for helping me find myself again.
For a little while, you were my home among a thousand thoughts.
Goodbye.
And thank you for reminding me that my heart never stopped beating, it had simply forgotten how beautiful it feels to truly be alive.
