summernight

There are nights that taste like freedom.
Like ice cubes gently clinking in a cocktail glass. Like warm pavement still holding on to the heat of the day. Like that soft summer breeze weaving through your hair, as if it wanted you to forget, just for a moment, how quickly time slips away.
The sun has long disappeared beyond the horizon, and yet it doesn't feel like an ending. It feels like a beginning. Conversations grow deeper, laughter becomes louder, and plans are made on a whim, as though the night has endless hours to give.
On these long summer nights, no one seems to look at the clock. You don't collect minutes, you collect memories. Barefoot, with a cold drink in your hand and the quiet feeling that life is exactly where it's meant to be.
Maybe it won't be the grand moments we'll miss one day. Maybe it will be evenings just like these. The warm wind in our hair. The clink of glasses. Music drifting softly through the air. And the silent promise that some nights are simply too beautiful to end early.
